Mission Serve Board of Directors
Joe is the founding pastor of the Gathering Church. He has served as a project coordinator, speaker and groups leader for many projects over the years. He has a huge heart for youth missions around the globe.
Wendell is a highly accomplished Business Development professional with over 20 years experience in sales and customer service. Prior to technology sales in his previous roles, Wendell managed grant programs for various associations. He lives in Cumming, GA with his wife and three children. Wendell is an active member of Creekside United Methodist church where he enjoys coaching soccer as part of the Sports Ministry. He hopes to expand the fundraising efforts for Mission Service.
Mark is a communications, public relations, and media professional. Mark has a heart for missions and helping those who need it most. He and his family have been involved with Mission Serve several years.
Shaun has served as a project coordinator for many years. He also assist the organization in writing many of the materials that groups use each summer.
Liz brings her heart for sharing the Gospel both within our local churches and to those those beyond the local church to Mission Serve. To accomplish this, Liz currently serves as Associate Pastor for Midway UMC overseeing missions and children's ministry, and as Spiritual Formation Pastor and CFO for the Matthew Initiative, a non profit working with congregations to revitalize their church by reaching out into their community through children's ministry. Prior to answering the call to vocational ministry, Liz worked 20+ years in the business world in sales, marketing, executive and strategic management.
Michael leads external communications for Emory University's Goizueta Business School. He has supported social media efforts for Mission Serve and is a member of Creekside United Methodist Church in Cumming, GA.
As the co-founder and former Executive Director of Mission Serve, Andy brings a new perspective to the board of directors. He assists the organization by leading the Fundraising and Grants Committee. In his free time, Andy serves as a lay leader at his church, as well as assists in the Feed the Five Thousand ministry, which delivers food and other needs to local families. He also enjoys spending time on the lake with his family.
Jonna has been involved in mission projects for many years. She has served as a group leader and cooking teams at projects. She also assists the organization in financial management.
