Another day of hard work here in Birmingham, Alabama! All of the squads are working really well together and accomplishing a lot.
Even though it was a really hot day our squads did not slow down! We even have a few squads that have worked so hard that they are almost done with their repairs. We are so thankful to have such hard working and dedicated participants!
After such a busy and tiring day the participants are looking forward to getting a much deserved half day off to explore the area and relax with their church groups.
Tonight’s worship was a really special and moving time; it was our Concert of Prayer night. Participants and leaders were able to connect one on one with each other and with God. All throughout the night, our wonderful band played beautiful songs that really brought everyone into a spirit of worship. Our students were able to connect to God in a variety of ways, from music to prayer to visual representations of our faith. We reflected in thanksgiving for all that He does for us and we did find out from a group leader that at least one person came to know Christ tonight.
Please continue to pray for the safety of all the participants. Also be in prayer that we are able to spread the word of Christ all throughout this community.
