Happy Friday!

We have had a fantastic last day in Buckhorn!  This week all of the participants worked super hard to accomplish the jobs that they were assigned.  Several of our squads were working on cabins for the Buckhorn Children and Family Services center in Buckhorn.  These construction crews were able to put new stain on the outside and tear down/put up new walls in the cabins.  Other squads were able to do different activities and minister to the youth of the center. All of the squads were able to achieve a lot in just one week!

We were really excited because some of the youth were able to join us again for worship! We also had our closing celebration tonight and it was one for the books! We started off by recognizing all of the youth with autism for all of their accomplishments this week. We then gave out some Mission Serve memorabilia for all of the other youth that participated in the Mission Serve Olympics.  Everyone really enjoyed this, it was exciting to see these kids so excited about getting recognized. After this Mr. Brown talked to us about how to take what we learned home with us, and how that can be so simple yet so overlooked.

We are really thankful to have had such a great band this week, and we’re excited to have them at our D.C. project later this month! To end the night, there were several people that stood up to share that they had accepted Christ!

We are also thankful for all of the amazing participants, volunteers, construction captains, squad leaders, group leaders, construction coordinator, project coordinator, and everyone else that was involved with making this week so successful!

Make sure you’re following us on Facebook so that you can see all the pictures from this week!

Please pray for safe travels tomorrow!
