We had another great day in Buckhorn! Lots of work was accomplished as some of the squads joined one another to help finish up at some of the worksites.

Today two of the squads had the opportunity to help some of the youth from the Buckhorn Children and Family Services Center play in the “Mission Serve Olympics”.  During this time they played various games and Jeff Leopard led them in an interactive devotion.

Tonight during worship, several pieces of art were auctioned off to go towards the Hurricane Matthew relief efforts in North Carolina, courtesy of donations from the youth of the Buckhorn Children and Family Services Center.  Mr. Brown’s message tonight challenged us to not get distracted by the smaller things in today’s world and to stay focused on the bigger picture of what God has planned for us.

Make sure you’re keeping up with us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat.

We only have one day left on the worksites so please continue to keep everyone here in Buckhorn in your prayers!

Your Summer Staff,

Lindsey, Patrick, and Claire
