Happy Friday everyone!

Our week here in Charlotte has come to a close, and all of our participants have finished on their worksites.

Throughout this week, our 152 participants have completed work at over ten sites. At these sites, they did roofing, painting, ministry, and painting houses. They have all worked extremely hard this week, and have shown not only their home owners, but the community the love of Jesus Christ.

Tonight during worship our speaker Justin Schultz delivered a message about how we can keep the fire alive that we have built this week. It is crucial that we don’t let our fire for Jesus die out once we get back into the routines of daily lives when we go back home.

Our message tonight came from John chapter 4 where we learned how Jesus treated others, despite who they were or appeared to be. We as Christians need to learn to see passed the filters and outside appearance of others and always show the love of Jesus Christ.

After finishing up at their job sites today, our participants got to enjoy our weekly Closing Celebration. During this time, we recognized the all of the hard work from this week. Some of our homeowners even got to join us! In this part of service, we celebrated our coordinators, construction captains, squad leaders, and group leaders.

It has been an awesome week here in Charlotte, North Carolina. We are so appreciative of everything that our participants have done to contribute to the work here this week.
