Happy Monday everyone!

It’s been an awesome day today in Charlotte, North Carolina!

Our squads have already made tremendous progress, and are well on their way to completing their job sites by Friday.

We started off our first day with the Great Send Off where our praise band, led by Justin Schultz, led us in worship. This was a time to prepare our students and leaders for their work day, and to get them excited to go into their job sites.

Tonight in worship, our speaker Justin wanted us to focus on how we look at other people in a more worldly view, rather than how Jesus saw people. He looked passed the filters and masks and saw them for who they are, and He loved them all.

Our scripture tonight came from Matthew 9:36-39. Here we learned that when Jesus looked out into the multitudes, He had compassion for them. He then looked to the others around Him and asked if they would pray for God to send workers for those who were struggling.

This week, we are those workers. We are the hands and feet of Jesus, and we are here to serve others.
