Happy Thursday everyone!

Our week here in Charlotte is coming to a close, our thirteen squads are finishing up at their sites, and will be completed by tomorrow.

So far this week, our participants have worked on roofs, ramps, painting, and with several ministries. Our squads have been so amazing in their willingness to work hard and to give their time towards serving others.

Tonight in worship, our speaker Justin Schultz spoke to us about fear. He presented us with a message from Psalm 139. He explained to us that God is the one who has created us. We are all one of a kind.

When we look at ourselves, we shouldn’t see through worldly filters and criticize the thugs that we don’t like. We should see ourselves as the way God created us: in His image.

When we have fears and struggles, we must look to God first. He is the only one who can ultimately free us from these things.

Tomorrow is our last day here in Charlotte, and the work that our participants have done will leave an everlasting impact, not only on the houses and ministry organizations, but in every person’s life that they have come in contact with.
