Happy Tuesday everyone!

Our participants have been working hard for their second day in a row, and are getting excited for their half day tomorrow afternoon.

Our squads have continued working on their roofs, painting, and wheelchair ramps. They have all been working extremely well together this week, and we are so proud of all that they have accomplished so far.

Tonight, we had our Concert of Prayer service, where we spent time in reverence of who God is and what all He has done for us.

This week, the service was broken up into four main parts: seeing God for who He is, speaking out about our confessions, recognizing what God has done, and praying to God asking Him to meet or needs.

While we were breaking off into small groups, we listened to someone read Matthew 6:9. In this verse, instructions are given on how to pray. Next, we read James 5:15, and were given the opportunity to give our confessions to the Lord by nailing them to two crosses.

For the second half of worship, we spent time recognizing God for what He has done while reading a passage from Romans 5. We reflected on this while worshipping with our Praise Band. To conclude the service, we got back together with our small prayer groups and gave our prayer requests, then prayed for each other and their needs.

We acknowledged that God is always in control, and that if we give our troubles to Him, we no longer should worry about what is going on. He will always take care of us.

Tomorrow our students will get to enjoy an afternoon off to have fun and bond with their youth groups. Some churches are planning to go to the local amusement park Carowinds, or a white water rafting center. Thursday, they will be back at their job sites bright and early and continue working hard to complete their sites by Friday.
