Happy Sunday!
We had a wonderful first day here in Forest City!
Each of the squads were hosted by local churches this morning. They have volunteered to provided lunches to each squads everyday throughout the week. We are very thankful for the hospitality and the wonderful food.
After attending church services, our squads went to visit their worksites. They each had the opportunity to meet with their homeowners and have some bonding time with their squads.
During worship our speaker Rusty reminded us of our true purpose and that we are all children of God that are connected to God through Christ. He also read from Ecclesiastes 12:13 which tells us to fear God and keep His commandments.
Please pray for the participants, homeowners, and everyone involved in this project in Forest City as we begin working tomorrow morning!
