Welcome to Fort Wayne!
We are so excited to welcome nine churches to our Mission Serve project in Fort Wayne! The churches are from Illinois, West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Maryland, and Tennessee. All of the participants came in today with smiling faces excited to begin repairing homes of those in need. After everyone was settled in, our students got to know each other by playing some games during Opening Celebration!
Tonight during worship, our speaker Jeremy Myers, talked about how we place filters on our lives. We place filters on our lives in order to try to cover up our sin. Jeremy reminded us that we are dead in our sins and cannot “filter” out our sins, Jesus is the only one who can do that for us.
Please pray for our participants as they are gearing up to serve the community of Ft. Wayne this week. Pray for the homeowners that they will be blessed by the participants.
