Happy Sunday!
We were graciously hosted for church this morning by Faith Baptist Church. After church, they provided a delicious brunch for us and snow cones!
After we ate, the participants found out what squad they were on. They spent some time getting to know each other and learned about what they would be doing this week. Afterwards, the squads had the opportunity to visit their worksites and meet their homeowners.
Tonight during worship, our speaker, Jeremy Myers, talked about how our mission as believers is to take the message of Jesus to the world. This mission requires humility. Fortunately, Jesus was the perfect example of humility for us. He did not choose to serve some over others, He served ALL people with humility.
Please pray for our participants as they are heading out to their worksites. Pray for the homeowners as work begins on their homes tomorrow.
