Happy Thursday everyone!

As our week here in Huntsville is coming to a close, our squads are wrapping up at their job sites. Even with all of the heavy rain that we received today, our participants found other opportunities to serve indoors by partnering with several other local ministries.

Some of our participants partnered with a local ministry that builds alternative self-transportation vehicles for those in third world countries who are unable to move on their own. Other squads teamed up together to finish two roofing projects, despite the rain today!

Tonight in worship our speaker, Jeremy Jones, opened by asking us the question: Who are you? We were asked, what is our identity? He spoke about how no matter how much older we get, or how much we change, our identity is that we change, our identity is that we are children of God, and that no one can change that. Our identity lies in Christ and Christ alone.

Our scripture from this evening came from Daniel 1, where we looked a little deeper into the life of Daniel. Here we learned that Daniel resolved and stood his ground, proclaiming that he was a child of God, and he would not turn away from Him.

Tomorrow is our last day here, and it has been an awesome week! We are looking forward to seeing all of our squads accomplish their goals of completing their projects.
