Happy Friday everyone!

As we have wrapped up our week here in Knoxville, TN our sixteen squads have completed their worksites and some even got the chance to paint at our facility, Central Baptist Church Fountain City!

Throughout this week, we had over 150 participants working on roofs, painting, and repairing or rebuilding decks in the city of Knoxville. God has definitely shown His prescience here in Knoxville through the work of our participants this week.

After their long week of hard work, our participants ended their day with worship and Closing Celebration. During this service, we celebrated all of the hard work that we have seen this week. We recognized our Construction Captains, Squads Leaders, Group Leaders, and Volunteers, all important members of our Knoxville Mission Serve team.

Tonight during worship, we read from John 4. In this scripture, we learned of the story of the lady at the well. Here, Jesus confronted the woman about her sin, which let her know how much she needed Him. He told her how He has always known who she is, and who she will be.

Jesus explained to this woman that she didn’t need to clean up before she came to Him, but that she could come to Jesus as she was because He is the only way. By Him, the Living Water, she would no longer thirst.

It’s been a great week here in Knoxville!
