Happy Monday everyone!
Today has been a great day in Columbus County, North Carolina!
This morning we got a kick start on our week with our Great Send Off. This was a time for encouraging our participants before they went out to their job sites.
All of our squads have worked extremely hard today in order to accomplish their goal for finishing the job sites this week.
Tonight during worship, we had the chance to hear an awesome testimony from two participants, a student and his group leader, about how the student came to know Christ during a previous mission trip this summer.
It was awesome to hear how God is moving through so many people and not only in Fair Bluff this week, but everywhere.
The work that is happening here in Columbus County is truly making a difference, not just in the homes and buildings, but also in the lives of the people we are serving in the community.
Our speaker Brent Austin taught us how important it is to show compassion to others. He gave us examples as to how we can live like Jesus, and see people without the filters for who they truly are and to love them. This way they can see the love of Christ through us and get to know Him too.
As the day has come to a close, all of our participants have settled into their beds are getting ready for another productive day tomorrow! We can’t wait to see what God has in store for the rest of the week.
