Happy Tuesday everyone!
As we have continued our week here in Columbus County, our participants have been working hard on their homes and job sites.
They have made tremendous progress so far, and we can’t wait to see them all completed Friday!
By the end of the work day today, we have had over ten presentations of the gospel to homeowners and neighbors! We have continued to see God moving, and are excited to see what He has in store for the rest of the week.
Tonight during worship after our praise band led us in a few songs, we got to hear another wonderful message from our speaker Brent Austin.
Tonight he spoke to us about getting out of our comfort zones. Many times we add filters onto our lives and ourselves to hide and remain comfortable, which is not what God wants for us. He wants us to step out for Him and share the good news with others, despite how uncomfortable we may get.
There’s a truth that we all have. despite all of our wrong doings, sins, and doubt, God loves us anyways. He sees pass the filters and masks, and His only goal is to give us the best life through Him.
He has chosen to use all of us for His glory. God will always have our back, through every struggle, and He will guide us through life onto the right path.
Tomorrow our participants will have the chance to enjoy the afternoon off. Several of our churches plan to have a well deserved, relaxing day at the beach. Others plan to enjoy water parks and shopping around town.
We’ve had an excellent week so far here in Columbus County, and are excited to continue our work here!
