What is Mission Serve’s relationship?

This is our first summer serving in Monroe, North Carolina.  We are partnering with the City of Monroe’s Planning and Community Development Department, MtC Global Ministries, Inc., and Shining Light Baptist Church to rehab several Shepherd’s Place Children Homes.  We will also be partnering in the rehabilitation of area homes in substandard condition.

Monroe is less than an hour away from the metro city of Charlotte and the amusement park Carowinds.
Monroe is the county seat of Union County with many national historical sites.
You can also enjoy water sports at the Cane Creek Park and there are plenty of places to shop.
You may enjoy a tee time at the Monroe Country Club 18 hole Donald Ross and Tom Jackson golf course (book ahead 704.282.4661), Extreme Ice Center for ice skating, or catch a movie at NCG Cinema or Sun Valley 14 or finally get your basketball or volleyball on at the Carolina Courts.
