Happy Friday everyone!
Today marks our last day here in Savannah, GA and it has been a great one at that! Our participants have worked extremely hard to finish all of their projects and they have had lots of fun doing it!
Since many of our squads finished their work earlier today, they had the opportunity to experience Savannah for another afternoon. For the squads that finished earlier this week, they helped our staff members in some tasks here at Life Church at Ardsley Park where we have been staying this week.
Throughout this week, our churches and participants have grown closer together, but more importantly have they have grown closer in their relationships with Jesus.
Tonight the Life Church worship team led us before hearing the message from Jon Tillman. he challenges us to be the best logos for Christianity, because we as followers of Christ are what represent Him.
There were five points that Jon gave us in the message tonight to help us with this. We are to first, live out our faith as an act of worship. Then, we must be humble and work with other believers. Next, we must love others to work with them. Our next step is to be submissive and respectful to others, followed by being moral and living out the truth.
Jon told us that the way we live our lives makes a difference, and that we live for Jesus because He has given us the command to go out into the world and make disciples.
