What a great Sunday we have had! This morning we headed out by squads and attended different churches services throughout the community. We are very thankful for their hospitality and for providing lunches for the squads this week.
Several of the squads were able to go and visit their worksites for the week. Everyone came back eager to start working and make an impact. After lunch many of the participants enjoyed time getting to know each other by playing several games.
Tonight during worship Steve spoke to us about how Salvation is based on whether or not you believe that Jesus died and rose again. He also referred to Philippians 2:7-8, which talks about how the only thing that we can give God is obedience.
