Happy Sunday!
Our participants arrived today and settled into their new home for the week- Cherokee Middle School. We are so excited to welcome Boger City Baptist Church, Brook Hill UMC, Hope Baptist Church, FBC Walterboro, Fellowship Baptist, Clyde’s Chapel, Thompsonville Baptist, Benson Grove, Covenant, Effort Baptist Church, and Antioch Baptist Church to Cherokee, North Carolina today.
After settling in, our participants enjoyed a fun filled welcome celebration with games, music, and information about the week. Later on, our band and speaker kicked off our week of worship by introducing our week’s theme, community. Our speaker, Jeremy Myers, and band, Justin Teseniar Band, led our first service of the week.
After worship, our 22 squads met for the very first time in preparation for the week. Please pray for our squads as they begin to get to know one another and prepare for a week of hard work and ministry. We are so excited about how God is going to move in this community this week!
