Welcome to Columbia!
Four of the five churches arrived safely and ready to work in Columbia today! We have churches from South Carolina, North Carolina, and Missouri. Our volunteer staff lead the youth in some fun and games before dinner. We had a delicious dinner provided by Trinity Baptist Church, where we are staying.
We had a great first night of worship. We are blessed to have the Justin Tesenair Band and our speaker Eddie Coakley with us in Columbia this week. Tonight, Eddie emphasized the importance of COMMUNITY. He reminded us that we can’t be strong Christians if we are not in fellowship with other Christians.
We are going to have a great week!! Please be in prayer for our participants, homeowners, staff, and coordinators as they work this week.
