Welcome to Motor City!
Today was our first day in Detroit! All 55 of the participants arrived today ready to work on homes that had been damaged in the recent flooding in Detroit. There are three churches from Georgia, Indiana, and New York! We even have some Construction Captains that came from Oklahoma! We are so excited to have participants from all parts of the country.
Gross Pointe Woods Presbyterian Church, where we are staying for the week, graciously provided us with dinner tonight! We are so thankful for their generosity and hospitality.
We had a great first night of worship! We are blessed with a great band, the North River Baptist Church worship band, and a great speaker, Steve Brown, who is also our PC!
We are going to have a great week!! Please be in prayer for our participants, homeowners, staff, and coordinators as they work this week in the name of the Lord.
