See ya later Detroit!
Well that’s a wrap in Detroit! We have had a great week cleaning up the basements of homes that had been flooded earlier this month. It may not have been an easy job, but it was well worth the hard work! The 53 participants cleaned 17 basements this week; we could not be more proud!
Tonight some of the homeowners of the homes the participants worked on this week joined us for dinner tonight. After dinner we had closing celebration. We honored our volunteers, cooks, squad leaders, construction captains, group leaders, and all of those who made this week possible.
Please pray for safe travels as the participants go home tomorrow morning.
