Happy Sunday from the Forest City Crew!
Today was another amazing day for the participants and staff here in Forest City! This has been the day that the Lord has made, and all of the participants have rejoiced and were glad in it! This morning, we started off by dividing up into squads and attending different local churches’ morning worship services. All of the services were fantastic, and then the squads were treated to lunch by the church families.
Tonight at worship, Rusty gave part of his testimony and told the Forest City participants when he realized that Jesus was truly the one and only way to God. He encouraged the participants to be ready to give a reason to why they believe what they believe, because you never know when you will be asked. He used many different analogies in his sermon that the participants loved, and helped get his message across very well.
Today was a full day, and all of the participants are looking forward to finally getting onto their worksites tomorrow and starting their jobs! This week, they could really use some encouragement, so if you want to send a participant a message of encouragement, you can do that by going onto the Mission Serve webpage and sending your participants ServeMail.
