It’s a splendid Sunday in Fort Wayne today!
We are so blessed that all of the participants were able to worship at the church that is hosting us this week. After an amazing time of worship with the congregation, we were able to have a classic cook out with them! We finished off the meal in a traditional Fort Wayne fashion with Kona Ice. Every participant and church member was able to enjoy a sweet treat!
The excitement didn’t stop after Kona Ice either, because afterwards squads were officially introduced. The participants were able to sit down with their squads and get to know them and get their assignments for the week. After the squad position training the groups meet back up and went and visited their worksites! One squad was ever able to pray with the homeowner!
After some down time, the cook team provided a wonderful dinner and then we had another amazing worship service! Tonight Tony talked about obedience to Christ and how that is shown through loving God and others.
This group is just on fire to be able to serve the community of Fort Wayne starting tomorrow! We can’t wait to see how God moves through this group!
