Happy Saturday!
We were so happy to welcome all of our participants here with us in Fuquay-Varina in what will be there home away from home! Lighthouse Baptist, Mt. Pleasant, Marion Salem, and Spring Creek will be here with us this week and we are so excited they arrived safely.
Once all of our participants settled into their rooms, we gathered together for the first time to begin our week with the opening celebration. We had a fun filled celebration full of games and details for the week.
Later on, the Oasis Band and Michael Ramsey, our speaker, led us in a time of worship. Michael read from Ephesians 2:19-22 and challenged us to be apart of a Christian fellowship.
Following worship, our 6 squads meet together for the first already forming community on day 1. We are looking forward to going out into the community tomorrow visiting local churches and viewing the worksites for the first time. We are excited and expectant to see how God is going to work in the community hear in Fuquay!
