Hello from Juana Díaz,
Sunday was a day full of fellowship and worship! We all went to worship at the church of our friends here in Puerto Rico, Iglesia Bautista El Messia. After service, our cook team prepared food for the members of the church and our participants served the food. Everyone had a fun time serving and eating with one another!
In the afternoon, participants learned their squad assignments. They got to know one another and learn their jobs for the week. Each squad is eager to start work Monday.
Tonight, in worship our band started the night off on an upbeat note! Jared read from Acts 9:6-17. He spoke about our need to walk in obedience with the Lord. He admitted it is sometimes scary or not something we want to do, but God has called us to be fearless and obedient.
This left our groups in deep thought about their current walk with God. Our teams set off Monday morning for their first day on the sites. Please pray for them this week and send encouragement through ServeMail!
