Hello from Juana Díaz!
This morning our groups headed off for another day at the worksite. They were well rested from their half day and excited to work on the progress of their homes. The finish line is in site!
When the groups got back, our cook team prepared an awesome meal to fill the bellies of our hardworking squads. Following dinner was our concert of prayer. This allowed the participants to focus on their purpose here this week and their current relationship with God. Our speaker, Jared, had the students think about all God has done for them. They had time to talk with God and time to talk and pray with each other. The band played songs such as ‘O Come to The Altar’ and ‘Brokenness Aside’. This powerful worship night let the participants concentrate fully on God’s glory.
Tomorrow, our squads head off for their last day on worksites. Also, its their last days with their homeowners. They will all pull together to finish their homes!
