Hello From Juana Díaz,
Today, our participants headed off bright and early to their job sites. They stayed and worked hard on their sites all day. No rain! The sun was shining down on our squads as they worked extremely hard on the progress of their projects.
The squads came back ready for a meal. Lucky us, a few of our Puerto Rican friends from Iglesia Bautista El Messia made us a traditional Puerto Rican dish for dinner. Following a great meal, we all drove off to worship at the church. Here, our friends also lead us in worship. They gave us the powerful experience of worshiping in two languages. Jared then delivered a message on the urgency of us preaching Jesus with our lives. He read from Acts 9:20-22 talking about our lives need to reflect Jesus.
After group meetings our participants went to bed excited for their half day on Wednesday. Please pray for our participants as they finish out the week strong. Also don’t forget to send them encouragement through ServeMail!
