Happy Tuesday everyone!

Our squads have finished another productive day on the worksites, and many are on their way to being completed before Friday!

Tonight we held our Concert of Prayer service. This worship service is always special as we have the chance to praise God and reflect on all that He has done for us.

During service we read through Matthew 6:9-13 which teaches us how to pray through the example of The Lord’s Prayer. We learned through this scripture that God is Holy, God is forgiving, and God is the Great Provider.

By reading Romans 5:8, we were reminded of God’s love. The Bible states that even though we were all sinners, Christ dies for us to allow us to live eternally with Him. Our participants were given the opportunity to pray with one another about their sins and struggles, and then to stand up and thank God for what He has done for us.

Tomorrow our squads will continue on their worksites in the morning, then have the chance to enjoy a well deserved afternoon off to explore the Knoxville area.
