Bienvenidos a Veracruz! Mission Serve is excited about the opportunity to serve in a new international location next summer. Veracruz is a coastal Mexican state located right on the Gulf of Mexico. This summer we will be partnering with a team of International Mission Board missionaries who have been in the area for several years. We will be staying at a camp run by the missionaries that is 3 blocks from the beach! There will be a great variety of ministry opportunities on this trip, including light construction work at the camp like painting, cleaning, and light carpentry. We will also be doing children’s ministry through VBS, and if you like sports then this trip is for you. There will be opportunities to work with the local village youth through basketball, volleyball, and soccer camps. What an incredible opportunity to use the universal language of sports to share the Gospel and the love of Jesus Christ with the children and youth in rural Mexico.
