Welcome to Savannah!
All of our churches arrived at Ardsley Park Church, where we are staying for the week. The churches working in Savannah this week are Community Fellowship, Church of the Holy Cross, Terra Ceia Christian Reformed Church, Faith Baptist Church, Grove Park Baptist Church, XRC Church, and FBC Archdale. Once everyone was registered, we gathered together for our Welcome Celebration. Our speaker, Jonathan Tillman lead the youth in some games before all of the participants met their squads. Dinner was provided by our gracious hosts and the worship service was lead by the band from Community Fellowship.
We can already feel a sense of COMMUNITY growing here in Savannah, and the squads can not be more excited to head out to their job sites tomorrow morning to share the love of Jesus Christ.
