Happy Tuesday!
We have truly been blessed so far this week with good weather and a welcoming community. Our squads returned to the worksites to continue painting, building ramps, and roofing. Our November and Oscar squads have been doing something unique in this community. They have been focusing on community work and outreach. They have been very successful connecting to local families through afternoon Backyard Bible Clubs. We are so blessed to have the opportunity to work through both construction and ministry.
Tonight, we packed up and spent the evening at First Baptist Church of Walterboro hosting a city block party. We were able to eat, play, and interact with local families. We enjoyed a visit from The Combat Team ministry and worship music by Kevin Payne. It was a total success!
Please continue to pray for us as we work a half day tomorrow and spend the evening relaxing in the local area!
