Happy Thursday!
What an incredible week we have had so far in Walterboro! What a cool bunch of participants and leaders (despite the hot weather). With only one day left on the worksite, we are getting ready to wrap up our project.
Our squads have experienced life change both within their groups and within the Walterboro community. As the roofs receive their final shingles and houses receive their last coats of paint, our squads are planting seeds in local neighborhoods that will surely spread in weeks and years to come.
Tonight, our worship service was set up a bit differently. We celebrated a Concert of Prayer, a service centered on silence, prayer, and reflection. Tracey and Kevin led our groups as we prayed for change in our own hearts, this community, and our home communities.
Tomorrow we will say goodbye to new friends and homeowners. Please pray for our squads as they finish their ministry in Walterboro and pack up to head home.
