Happy Sunday from the D.C. Crew!
Today was another amazing day for the participants and staff here in D.C! This has been the day that the Lord has made, and all of the participants have rejoiced and were glad in it! This morning, we started off by dividing up into squads and attending different local churches’ morning worship services. All of the services were fantastic, and then the squads were treated to lunch by the church families.
Eric delivered another fantastic message during worship tonight. He challenged the participants to re-examine their lives and to truly ask themselves if Christ was the Lord of their lives. He explained that this doesn’t only mean that we need to ask if we were saved or not, but it meant we needed to ask if we were truly living for Christ. If Christ is the supreme Lord of our life, we will automatically respond to situations with love, and impact our communities that much more.
Today was a full day, and all of the participants are looking forward to finally getting onto their worksites tomorrow and starting their jobs!
