Hello from D.C.!
It is so hard to believe that this week in D.C. has come to an end! This morning, the participants got up bright and early one more time to go work on their worksites. They added a few final touches to their homes, gave the kids one more hug at the ministry sites, and wrapped up their work week. Tonight, we also had the Closing Celebration, a way to officially end the D.C. trip. Callie, our Project Coordinator recognized those who made this project a success, from adult leaders, to the band, and to our wonderful coordinators. The squads got to chat with each other one last time and say their final goodbyes before leaving in the morning.
