Happy Friday everyone! Our amazing week in Washington, DC is coming to a close.
We are incredibly happy to say that all of our squads were able to finish up their projects today! With some inter-squad help, we were able to finish all of our sites. We are so thankful for all of the participant’s hard work and dedication every day this week! We are also extremely thankful for all of the home owners for letting us come and work on their homes and the relationships that were able to be formed this week!
Our closing celebration was tonight, and everyone had so much fun! During this we took some time to celebrate all of our coordinators, group leaders, squad leaders ,and participants that made this week happen.
The word for our last night of worship was “celebration”. We started and ended our night worshipping in song with our band from North River Baptist church. We would like to thank them for dedicating their time this week! Tonight Steve challenged us to go home and share all of the great things that God has done for us.
Please pray for everyone that has been impacted this week. Also, please continue to pray for all of the participants as they head home early tomorrow morning.
