Happy Tuesday Everyone!

This morning all of our squads headed out to their worksites for their second day of work! It may be hot and humid here in Wilmington, but our participants are staying hydrated and working hard. So many of our squads are building community with their homeowners and the neighbors. We are so excited for the next three days of work and to here about their stories!

We gathered together for worship and heard from two additional speakers of the community encouraging the students to be the one and to not to conform the world’s idea of what is the easy thing to do and instead do the right thing. The Justin Teseniar Band and Nathan Tuttle lead us in the rest of our time of worship. Nathan Tuttle challenged us to be a Voice for the Voiceless as seen in 2 Samuel Chapter 9 where King David reached to Jonathan’s son, Mephibosheth. Nathan encouraged us to reach out to the unloved and show the love of Christ.

Please be in prayer for our participants and leaders as they finish out the second half of their week here with us in Wilmington. We are excited and expecting to see how God moves!
